Teams may make whatever trades they wish during the season or between seasons. However no trades will be permitted during the regular season after Game 35. The cost to make a trade shall be three units for each team involved plus one additional unit for each player from its roster or draft pick involved in the traded. No payment of units shall be required for trades made between the end of final game of the RHL Cup playoff and the deadline for player cuts at the beginning of an RHL season.
     Trades become effective at the start of the next scheduled RHL playing period after they are made.
